Older Artists (11+)
This class should be a lot of fun and I can not wait to meet the rest of you. This week we started to get to know each other with some drawing games. Next week i am hoping to dive right into watercolor. We will be going over advanced techniques and how to use these as your children paint their own personal interests. I am hoping to get a sketchbook for each student so that I am able to assign some sketchbook prompts once a week. My hope is that each student becomes passionate and confident about art.

March 4th 2020 Color Wheel and Color Mixing w/ Watercolor
This week we talked about colors and how we can mix our very own colors. They learned the primary, secondary, tertiary and complementary colors. They each painted their own color wheel and learned how to mix complementary colors to get a more natural color
March 11th 2020 Watercolor flowers
This week we will be painting flowers in watercolors implementing the skills we learned the week before.
