This class should be a lot of fun and I can not wait to meet the rest of you. This week we started to get to know each other with some drawing games. Next week i am hoping to dive right into watercolor. We will be going over advanced techniques and how to use these as your children paint their own personal interests. I am hoping to get a sketchbook for each student so that I am able to assign some sketchbook prompts once a week. My hope is that each student becomes passionate and confident about art. In weeks to come your children will understand different watercolor techniques and be able to use them to create unique paintings. Welcome to Midway art classes! My name is Lauren Cressman and I am sooo excited to be working with each of you and your children. Here on this blog I will be posting lessons, completed artwork, and any assignments I may give your children to complete throughout the week. Here is my personal portfolio that you are more than welcome to view. I have taught kindergarten for three years along with sundance kids camp. I am graduating from BYU in art education in april.
